One of the biggest challenges I have ever faced was dealing with my own anger. I had to learn to take the destructive energies, living inside me, and analyze their source. Then, turn them into something good. Like a wonderfully positive newsletter for a transgender tucking company. ***wink, wink***

Anger is the emotional equivalent of physical pain. It's necessary to our survival. When something hurts, you find a way to heal the pain. Anger is the same. It’s standing up for what’s right and making the world a more habitable place for everyone. Surly, everyone wants to live in a more habitable world? And, don’t call me Shirley.

We need anger. Pride was born from anger. When LGBTQ+ people stood up to violence happening to them and told the world, no more. So, please, go. Right now. Get mad! Feel the rage boiling inside of you. Then take that rage and turn it into something beautiful. Cook something for your friends. Organize a get together for trans people in your city. Make a Pussy Riot inspired punk song. I’ll be angry with you. Then we can have tea together. Hopefully oolong.
